Quick answers
DIAMONDGAME FAQ.
Is the game free?
Yes. There is no purchase, wager or prize. You can practice or play the daily challenge without an account. Approved advertisements may appear on selected guide pages, separated from game controls.
Can I play with friends online?
Regular matches are played locally on one shared device. The online feature is a daily score leaderboard, not live multiplayer matchmaking. Friends can complete the same daily challenge and compare submitted results.
Why are possible destinations not highlighted?
The game is designed for you to think through the route. Tap your piece and then an empty destination. If the move is illegal, your piece remains selected. A valid linked jump is animated automatically.
Can I jump over another color?
Yes. Every color can act as a bridge. The hole directly beyond the jumped piece must be empty. No pieces are captured or removed.
Why did I not win with a full destination?
All ten destination holes must contain your own pieces. A full target containing another color does not count as a victory.
How do undo and the timer work?
Practice matches have configurable undos and an optional timer. Undo reverses your latest human move and any following computer moves. When a human timer reaches zero, the turn is forfeited and play passes to the next player. Ranked daily matches disable both options so everyone uses the same rules.
How are daily scores calculated?
Points reward fewer human moves and faster completion. Base points are max(100, 10,000 minus 75 per human move). The time bonus is twice the number of seconds left within a 30-minute window. The server uses the real time since you started the attempt; pausing does not freeze that ranking clock.
When does the daily challenge change?
The challenge date changes at midnight in Korea, 00:00 KST (UTC+9). Finish and submit before that date changes. The computer seed changes daily, and all ranked attempts for a date use that same seed.
Does my score publish automatically?
No. After winning a daily match, enter a public nickname and press Submit daily score. The server verifies the game before accepting the result. Practice scores remain on your device.
Where are my personal records stored?
Your bests and recent results are saved in local storage in this browser. They are not an account backup. Clearing site data, changing browser or using a different device can reset them.
What if the leaderboard is unavailable?
You can still play a practice match. If a submission fails, the result screen shows the reason and allows a retry when possible. Keep the page open until submission succeeds; a reload clears the current match record.
How do I change a nickname or request removal?
You can choose a nickname when submitting a new daily best. For help with a published result, contact WORKONE with the challenge date, nickname and relevant score. We may ask for information that shows the result is yours.
